Do I have to be an New Zealand resident to join the JR/Vantage program?
No, however if you are not an New Zealand resident you should be a frequent traveller to or from New Zealand to maximise your rewards.

How do I update my details?
Login to your JR/Vantage account at http://www.jrdutyfree.co.nz/ then click on 'My Account'.
What happens if I lose my membership card?
If you lose a JR/Vantage Card please contact a Customer Service Representative at Contact Us to organise a replacement card. A small charge may apply.
Is there a minimum number of points to start redeeming awards?
Yes, you need to earn 4,500 points to redeem your points to the value of $20 in-store and on-line.
I have forgotten my username, what should I do?
Your username is your email address or JR/Vantage number. If you still cannot remember, please contact a Customer Service Representative at Contact Us.
I have forgotten my password, what should I do?
Click on the 'Forgot Password' link located on the login page, and follow the steps.
Why do I need to supply my email address to register with JR/Vantage?
Your email address allows us to communicate with you about your membership and allows us to keep you informed of exclusive offers, events and any changes to the program. If you choose to opt out of receiving emails you will be opting out of the program.
Can I cancel my JR/Vantage membership?
Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time. Please contact a Customer Service Representative via the website or opt out of receiving emails.
1. How do I earn points?
Points are earned when you purchase JR/Duty Free New Zealand goods either in-store or online. This does not include purchases on Apple or tobacco products. Click Contact Us for the points table.
2. Are my points transferable?
No - points are not transferable.
3. How long are my points valid for?
Points do not expire provided there is purchase activity within a 12-month period. This includes a purchase where points are redeemed.
4. What happens if I return my shopping for a refund?
The store will provide a refund where it is legally obliged to do so (for example, under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993). Points earned on returned products will be deducted accordingly. No monetary refund will be given for the points value when returning items.
5. Can I use my card when I shop online?
Yes - ensure you login to your account prior to purchasing JR/Duty Free goods and the points will be added accordingly.
6. How do I keep track of my points?
You can track your points online using your customer login in the My Profile section at Profile.
7. How do I claim missing points?
Please contact a Customer Service Representative with proof of purchase at Contact Us or on on 0508 573889 (within New Zealand) or +64 9 2567840 (outside New Zealand) to claim your points.
8. How quickly are my points credited to my account?
Goods purchased at a JR/Duty Free airport store (after Customs clearance) - Immediately
Goods purchased at a JR/Duty Free airport store airport (before Customs clearance) - Once goods are picked up by the traveller at the Collections point.
Goods purchased as a pre-order or online via the JR/Duty Free website - Can take up to 120 days to be credited. Once goods are picked up by the traveller at the Collections point.
How do I redeem points?
Members who have at least 4500 points can redeem them in $20 denominations when making a purchase in-store and on-line. Simply present your card at the start of your transaction and you will have the option to redeem your points.
How do I advance up a tier?
To advance from RED to GOLD status, you must spend a minimum of $1,500 at JR/Duty Free in one twelve (12) month period on all products (excluding tobacco). To advance from GOLD to DIAMOND status, you must spend a minimum of $3,000 at JR/Duty Free in one twelve (12) month period on all products (excluding tobacco).
Which products qualify to earn points?
All products are included except for Apple and tobacco products.

How will I receive my new JR/Vantage card if I move up a tier?
GOLD and DIAMOND members will receive a card in the mail (once a correct mailing address is provided).
I have qualified for the next tier, how long does it take to be recognised?
You will move up a tier at the end of your monthly statement cycle.
Do I need to continue to spend to maintain my tier level?
You need to spend at least once every 12 months to maintain your status. In addition, the more active you are, the more special offers and invitations you will receive.
How do I take advantage of the member benefits?
Easy - simply login to your account and visit the Member Benefits page to view the promotion code or link and take advantage of the exciting offers.
